Laszlo Puczko

Laszlo Puczko (MSc MA PhD CMC)

  • He is the Founder of TOHWS and is the Managing Director of Xellum Ltd. He also Head of Tourism and Catering Institute at the Budapest College of Communication and Business, Associate Professor at University of Tartu (Parnü Kolledz, Estonia) and President of the Association of Tourism Consultants (Hungary). He was Member of the Travel and Tourism Research Association (TTRA) Europe Chapter Board (2008-2010) and now he is the Regional Vice President of the International Tourism Studies Association (ITSA). His main interests are in travelling for health, product development, bechmarking and experience mapping.
    László is an internationally known and acknowledged expert, he lectures at various international professional and academic conferences and congresses, and he is member of the Global Speakers' Network.

Melanie Kay Smith

 

Melanie Kay Smith (PhD, MSc)

  • Researcher and consultant, Melanie Smith is an Associate Professor and Researcher in Tourism at the Budapest Business School. She was Director of BA Tourism and MA Cultural Tourism Management Programmes for several years at the University of Greenwich in London. She was the Chair of ATLAS (Association for Tourism and Leisure Education), which has around 300 members in 70 countries. She is author of several books and journal articles with research interests in cultural and urban tourism, regeneration, and health and wellness tourism

 

Ivett Sziva

Ivett Sziva, PhD, MSc

  • Researcher and consultant, Ivett Sziva is Senior Professor in Tourism at the Budapest College of Communication and Business. Ivett takes part in academic researches, and is mostly committed to qualitative methods. She lectures and has publications in the topic of destination management, competitiveness, health- and clinical-tourism, and e-tourism. At present, she focuses her research work on the newest trends of health-tourism (clinical and spiritual health-tourism).
